Steve Clarke’s side have gone from strength to strength over the last two years and despite defeats to England, France and Spain in the last couple of months, the Scots can still have enough to see off a Georgia side who they beat 2-0 in a commanding performance at Hampden in June. Scotland however have booked their spot at the finals, and are now fighting it out with Spain to finish top of the group. Georgia are currently trailing second-placed Scotland by eight points in Group A and although mathematically unable to secure one of the top-two spots, the Crusaders still have a chance to qualify for the finals in Germany next summer through the play-offs, thanks to their performance in the 2022/23 UEFA Nations League.
